Roosevelt County Library System is excited to announce our Lewis and Clark Framing Contest, which is a part of several Lewis and Clark projects/ events that will culminate in the month of April.  These projects are made possible because of a Lewis and Clark Stewardship Grant.

This contest is open to people of all ages.   It would be a great group project, but individuals are welcome to participate also.   Each participant has a choice of either a “Sacagawea and Pomp” or “The Portage” poster that can be picked up at the Roosevelt County Library, Culbertson Library, Froid Library and Poplar Library.  These are available on a first come, first serve basis.

The Grand Prize is a bicycle or e-reader.  Other prizes will include gift certificates from local businesses and Sacagawea bronze medals in cases.  Distribution of the prizes will be determined by the number of entries.

The contest closes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20th.  Winners will be announced at a Lewis and Clark Heritage Celebration on April 28th at the Roosevelt County Library.  Participants need not be present to win.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Roosevelt County Library at 653-2411.
